Team America Football Club

This is the official site of TEAM AMERICA FOOTBALL CLUB 1998 - Blue (TAFC98-Red) Travel Soccer team.  Team America is based in Northern Virginia, just south of Washington DC.

TEAM AMERICA FC philosophy focuses on the development of well rounded soccer players .  Our philosophy focuses first and foremost on ball control and creativity in real game situations.  Our philosophy teaches players that making mistakes are simply a part of learning, and without mistakes you are not pushing your skills or testing your abilities.  

Our ultimate goal is to prepare each player to someday reach the maximum level of competition their abilities will allow, whether that be travel soccer, high school, Olympic Development Program (ODP), college, or professional ranks.  But, more importantly, TEAM AMERICA FC wants these young people to want to play soccer and eventually become the best player, fan, coach,  parent and/or advocate of soccer possible.

In the process of striving for these goals, we will help to develop some good players and teams. We know that out of the thousands of players that we are fortunate enough to teach, maybe one will still be playing competitively at age 30. Almost all will become parents and hopefully coaches, and that defines our real mission.
